Our cooking classes of fall 2008 and 2009 are finalized with a wonderful graduation party. In this last cooking class and party, we learned how to cook Baklava, one of the most traditional Turkish deserts, wathced a slide show of perivious classes, run contests such as taste contest, box game, and yes-no contest and finally presented the graduation certificates. New session of classes will start soon.

For our 7th cooking class on February 15, our cook was Nurdan Ozarslan. She showed us three recipes. First one is Feta Cheese Borek with Tortilla, second one is chocolate cake and the third one is carrot salad. All of the recipes were easy to make and turned out great!

Every class, we run a small contest. For this class, it was grating the carrots. As a prize, one of the class members won an evil eye necklace.
